Road Trip

This past Saturday we took a road trip for the day to visit Mia & Papa. They are temporarily residing in Luling, Texas which is about an hour from San Antonio. Early that morning, we all piled in the car and we were off on our adventure. Why do I call our road trip an adventure? Because anything that requires driving long distances in the car with 3 wild and rambunctious boys is ALWAYS an adventure. Thank goodness for the DVD player in our car.
We met Mia & Papa for lunch and then we went to their house to get snacks to take to the park. On the way to their house, we saw so many cows that Gage continued to ask us all day "Where'd the cows go? That child loves animals. :) We spent the majority of the day at a state park off a large river...which I have forgotten the name of. :)
Fair warning....there are alot of pictures, but we had a great day and I wanted to share.

This park had "old school" slides. The boys really loved them.

Papa...being a kid.

Gage & Grayson

Mia...being a kid too!

Gage, Grayson, Mia & Gavin swinging.

All the boys!

I tried to get a cute picture of Gage & Grayson, but there was so much to look at that it was really hard to get them to look at me. Go figure!

Papa & Gavin walking on a wall by the river.

Of course, the little boys have to follow suit.

Sweet brothers!

Grayson was loving the two-on-one attention.

Here is Gage feeding some very hungry ducks. You see he has no fear of animals. He will just walk right up to them....this is not always a good thing. :)

I love this picture because it really captures the moment. The boys loved every second of feeding the ducks.

I thought these ducks were so cute and I was wishing that my three little ducks would walk calmly in a single file line....NOT happening at my house! :)

After being at the park for a couple of hours, the boys really worked up an appetite.

If you can not tell by all the pictures, we had a great day. The boys love their Mia and Papa and wish they could see them more often. Thanks for having us and we will definitely come back soon, maybe to drop them off! :)
